Da settembre 2012 sarà disponibile, a
Villa Petriolo, un nuovo laboratorio didattico, dedicato a promuovere il consumo responsabile e la libera creatività.
Per
“La fattoria della cultura”, progetto del
Circondario Empolese-Valdelsa col Patrocinio della
Regione Toscana, indirizzato alla
valorizzazione della filiera corta, la nostra azienda di Cerreto Guidi avvierà
“Barrique&Burattini”, una nuova iniziativa che vedrà i bambini realizzare
burattini utilizzando materiale riciclato dall’ambiente agricolo.
Attraverso questo percorso di didattica ambientale, indirizzato a far conoscere ai bambini e ai ragazzi direttamente i luoghi dove l'agricoltura toscana conserva il patrimonio di antiche tradizioni, si scoprirà di quali materiali è fatto il lavoro di un’azienda vinicola. Primi su tutto,
i sugheri. Ma anche
le foglie della vite, i raspi dell’uva, i viticci, gli acini, la corteccia… e tanta fantasia.
Dopo esserci procurati il materiale in vigna e nel bosco di Villa Petriolo, realizzeremo tutti i pupazzi che l’immaginazione e la voglia di sperimentare dei bambini sarà capace di creare con elementi riciclati. Un lavoro di gruppo che culminerà nel gioco teatrale su canovaccio ideato durante la costruzione dei burattini. I personaggi, animati dagli stessi partecipanti al laboratorio, daranno vita ad una piccola pièce in una baracca coloratissima posta sull'aia di Villa Petriolo, recinado dal vivo e interagendo col pubblico dei genitori invitati a fine laboratorio.
"Barrique&Burattini" permetterà ai bambini di apprendere il valore delle capacità manuali e della propria creatività, sperimentando il gratificante meccanismo che consente la realizzazione di un'idea.
Nello stesso tempo, imparando i rudimenti dell'antica arte del burattinaio, il bambino sarà incoraggiato a superare la propria timidezza ed affinare l'espressività, la voce e il movimento del corpo.
Al termine del laboratorio, consegna del diploma di
“apprendista burattinaio” e
merenda contadina sul prato di Villa Petriolo!

THE CULTURE FARM: "Barrels & Puppets" in Villa Petriolo.
The objective of the educational projects of Villa Petriolo, Simona and Silvia Maestrelli’s winery in Cerreto Guidi (Florence), is to spread among the younger generations the principles of a balanced and healthy diet, and healthy, in respect of nature, to preserve intact the natural heritage we have. Children can thus increase their knowledge: knowing how to do, knowing how to be.

From September 2012 will be available at Villa Petriolo, a new education laboratory, dedicated to promoting free creativity. For "Green Culture", a project of the Empoli-Valdelsa with the patronage of the Regione Toscana, directed to the enhancement of the short chain, the winery in Cerreto Guidi will start "Barrels & Puppets," a new initiative that will see the children make puppets using recycled materials from the farm. Through this process of environmental education, aimed to let children and young people know the places where the Tuscan agriculture preserves the heritage of ancient traditions, they find the materials used in a winery. First of all, the corks. But even the leaves of the vine, the stems of grapes, the vines, berries, bark ... and lots of imagination.
After getting the material in the vineyard and in the wood of Villa Petriolo, we will make all the puppets that to the children’ imagination and desire will create with recycled elements. A working group that will culminate in the theater play created during the construction of the puppets. The characters, animated by the workshop participants, will create a performance in a colorful stage box located on Villa Petriolo’s yard, playing live and interacting with the audience of parents invited to the laboratory. "Barrels & Puppets" will allow children to learn the value of manual skills and creativity, experiencing the rewarding mechanism that allows the realization of an idea. At the same time, learning the rudiments of the ancient art of the puppeteer, the child will be encouraged to overcome their shyness and refine expressivity, voice and body movement.
At the end of the workshop, delivery of the diploma of "apprentice puppeteer" and ‘merenda’ on the lawn of Villa Petriolo country, based on products of the farm.
The workshops at Villa Petriolo aim to create an open culture of food, which, by removing the usual junk food, bring the kids to the healthy life of all days, including discovering together how much effort and work is needed to preserve the earth, the same land that, well cared for, gives us the grapes, olives, wheat and fruit.
